Resident Evil: Afterlife Teaser Trailer When?

Just before wrapping another day's work on Resident Evil: Afterlife in Toronto, actress (and "Alice") Milla Jovovich revealed when we can expect a teaser trailer.

"There will [be] a teaser trailer in theaters in January, is what I just heard," she said via her Twitter account.

Director Paul W.S. Anderson is expected to wrap shooting in December. The fourth entry in the Screen Gems series is being shot in 3-D and co-stars Ali Larter, Spencer Locke, Wentworth Miller, Shawn Roberts, Boris Kodjoe, Kim Coates, Norman Yeung, Kasey Barnfield and Mika Nakashima.

Milla Talks Big Fight in "Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010)"

Milla Jovovich has been tweeting this morning about a big fight that she's about to shoot for Resident Evil: Afterlife.

"Today we are shooting the big 'Wesker fight'! So it was really important to get our heads around what exactly would be happening," she said. Milla added that "the fight is Alice, Claire and Chris Redfield against super powerful Wesker. The moves are taken directly from RE5, a homage to the fans."

Once she got on-set, she said, "Wow, this wesker set is sick!!!!! Hahahahahaha! It looks so amazing!!!! U guys are gonna flip out when u see it!"

Will Jill Valentine Return for Resident Evil: Afterlife?

It’s entirely possible, at least according to “Resident Evil” star Milla Jovovich, who has been tweeting up a storm from the “Afterlife” set ever since the film started shooting. Exactly 24 hours ago, she tweeted this: “Valentine MAY b back…” Which would seem to indicate the Jill Valentine character, played by British babe Sienna Guillory in “Resident Evil: Apocalypse” will probably be back. After all, why would she tweet it if she didn’t already know or hear or see something to indicate Valentine’s return?

As I recall, Valentine was one of the survivors after the second movie, but she was sadly missing from “Extinction”.

Milla Jovovich as Alice and clones: The primary protagonist who was previously tracked down by the Umbrella Corporation and captured in order to develop a serum from her blood. In the film she will settle her score with The Umbrella Corporation, after she let them know that she was coming after them at the end of the third film.

	Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield: based on the video game character of the same name. He is the brother of Claire, he first appeared as one of the main protagonists in the original Resident Evil game and later as the co-protagonist of Resident Evil 5.
	Ali Larter as Claire Redfield: Very loosely based on the video game character of the same name, she plays a prominent role in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica. In Resident Evil: Extinction, she led a convoy of survivors.
	Spencer Locke as K-Mart: renamed after the department store she was found in, K-Mart was a member of Claire Redfield's convoy of remaining survivors. She was last seen in the hijacked helicopter bound for Alaska during conclusion of Extinction.
	Alex Williams as Bilie Dyork: One of the survivors of the destruction that occurred in the previous film, "Resident Evil: Extinction", become best friend of K-Mart.
	Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker: based on the video game character of the same name, he is a prominent antagonist in many of the video games. In the film, he is the Chairman of Umbrella. His office is in Tokyo, Japan and through holographic technology, he has regular meetings with committee members.
	Boris Kodjoe as Luther: The leader of a group of survivors who have been hiding in Los Angeles for the past few years.

Resident Evil 4: Afterlife Behind the Scene

One may recognize from left to right: Wentworth Miller, Ali Larter and Milla Jovovich.

"Resident Evil 4" will be set in Tokyo, and Impact/Constantin is looking to shoot the film in Japan. "Afterlife" will be set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun with mutant zombies. "Afterlife" will play in the Nevada desert with the Aussie outback standing in for the American wasteland. In the final reel, the action will shift to Japan, setting up thefourth edition.

I've been waiting for the sequel of this movie. Resident Evil is one of my favorite science fiction action horror of all time.

Her husband, Paul WS Anderson, will direct as well as produce, and that hes researching 3D techniques. "Resident Evil: Afterlife" is set to be released on August 27, 2010.

Plot:
Resident Evil: Afterlife picks up where the third film left off, since then Alice has been roaming the world searching for any remaining survivors. As she enters the ruined Los Angeles, she stumbles onto a prison surrounded by zombies. She then teams up with group of survivors who had been hiding in Los Angeles since the T-Virus outbreak and helps them break out other survivors held within the jail which include Claire's brother Chris Redfield.

"Alice's battle with The Umbrella Corporation isn't finished," said director Paul Anderson. "Last time we saw Alice, she let them know she was coming after them. It's time to settle the score."
